"Meg" lived on a beautiful acreage property at Kurrajong until she was 3 yrs old, at which time her family moved to a much smaller home, where they could not take her.

So "Meg" came back to visit …… and stayed.

“Meg” had only attended a handful of shows gaining some points towards her championship.

Then she delighted us by winning BEST IN SHOW at the Golden Retriever Club of NSW Inc Championship show in Sept 2004, under Judge Mrs L Walker from the Gloi Golden Retriever Kennels in the UK.

"I would happily have taken this one home with me, she has everything I look for in a bitch. Well balanced and compact with excellent front and rear angulation, excellent reach of neck. Beautifully balanced head with feminine expression. I would like darker pigment but you can't have everything. Correct depth and spring of rib, although a touch well padded. Moved with drive and accuracy. Beautifully gleaming dark gold coat"

Not just a pretty face, "Meg" entered the obedience ring, at just under 7 years of age, and gained her CD title, placing at each qualification.

At the age of almost 12 years "Meg" competed in a Veterans Obedience Trial at Southern Highlands. We were thrilled when "Meg" was awarded 3rd place
