"FRASSA" is the FIRST UK bred, imported Golden Retriever
in Australia, for almost 30 years, to succeed in both the Show and 
Obedience rings, gaining his Australian Championship 
and CDX titles.

"FRASSA" was bred in the UK and went to Sweden as a puppy.

He was awarded 2 Challenges in Sweden and also gained 2 Novice certificates in the Field in that country. He is also the sire of 15 litters in Sweden.

"FRASSA" came to us in Australia as an adult dog at the age of 4 ½ years. Within 6 months of his arrival here, he had gained his Australian Championship. He won in the Show ring at Speciality and All Breed Championship Shows under Australian and International Specialists, in both Australia and Sweden.

At the age of 7 years, he entered the Obedience ring, gaining his CD title with 2 x 1^ST awards and 1 x 2^nd award.

Very quickly he was trialling in the Open ring and in November, 1998 he gained his CDX title. Although progressing extremely well in UD training, a broken toe and foot injury put an end to "FRASSA's" obedience career before he could gain that title.

"FRASSA" is the sire of 20 Show champions, including 1 Grand Champion, as well as 42 Obedience and Field Trial titled progeny in Australia, New Zealand and Sweden.  This  includes  Aust Grand Ch Buffalo Belayre Prince, who is a multi winner of Group and In-Show awards, including a Best In Show at an All Breeds Championship Show, and Swedish Champion Respons Rikoschett-Ten.

He continues to sire sound, typical puppies with the intelligence and good temperament essential in the Golden Retriever.

Progeny scores on hips and elbows are very encouraging with scores well below the Breed average.

"FRASSA" passed away at the age of 15 1/2 yrs, after being part of our family for 11 yrs.
